My Lovely Babes: March 2008

Baby Javelle took part in the Healthy Baby Contest organized by the Nanyang CC and Young Parents Magazine

And she got a Consolation Prize!! Im so proud of my xiao fei mei.. Though is just a consolation, but she is actually competing with 70 over babies under her category (3mths - 6mths old).. I was surprised that she was well-behaved for that day despite the fact that she has slight runny nose and coughing due to the teething stage.. And she did well.. Apart from the top 3 prizes, there were only 5 consolation prizes and she got it!

At the Nanyang Community Centre

There is a total of 3 sessions to access the babies..

Waiting for the 1st round.. whereby it is a 1-1 session. The nurse will talk and play with the baby to see their reaction and responses.. For this round, photo-taking is not allowed..

So we take pics of our own outside the room.. hehe..

I put on the baby's white stocking on Javelle.. Looks like a little ballet dancer..

2nd Round: Photo-taking session.. see if the baby is photogenic..

Was a warm day.. But Baby Javelle is waiting patiently for her turn

Finally..

All the babies got to sit on the tiny chair to take pics..

Javelle's turn.. she is too small to sit on the chair.. so she sat in this tiny sit that her buttom settled into the small hole to balance herself.. and we were at the side trying to make her smile.. it was a gd take when the photographer showed us the pic on his camera..

3rd Round: Father and Baby Chemistry. This is when the daddy has to go on stage with the baby to put on the napkin on the baby.. is not diapers but napkin.. those white cloths type.. and u will need to fold into the napkin to wear on baby's buttom.. And im busy teaching Shawn how to fold before he went on stage.. he really got panicked!!! hahaa..

After the 3 rounds of assessement, we went to the auditorium for a short rest..

Finally completed the whole session..

Went back to the main hall.. Met up with ah ma's fren.. who oso brought her daughter for the contest.. Javelle keep trying to reach out to the other baby.. She loves to look at other babies and trying to go near them whenever she can.. Maybe thats the main reason that contributed to her beautiful mood on that day..
